Having worked at Pestell & Co for over 20 years and lived in the town for a number of years, Mark has a wealth of experience in the local housing market and great relationships with local businesses and developers. Mark's role is the running of the business and the growth. He is also responsible for property appraisals and is available throughout the sales process for advice, support and assistance.

Paul Welland - M.N.A.E.A and M.A.R.L.A

Paul opened the Great Dunmow office over almost 20 years ago and has built a great portfolio of repeat business. Having always lived in the area his knowledge of property and the local agency business is vast. Paul is qualified with the National Federation of Property Professionals. Being the principle partner in Pestell & Co he is responsible for all aspects of the business however specialises in Prestigious, Equestrian and Land transactions.

Ray Bullett - M.N.A.E.A

Bio

Ray again a local member of the team having lived in Stansted Mountfitchet, Felsted and now Priors Green, Little Canfield. He is qualified with the National Federation of Property Professionals. Handling most aspects of the business but concentrating on residential sales and with it the property valuations and sales progression. Favourite markets of interest for Ray would be New Homes and Prestigious Architectural Properties. Since joining us in 2010 he has helped develop the company and progressed to Partner in 2017.

Catherine Aiken

Bio

Catherine joined our Letting’s team in April 2023 having previously owned her own Inventory company for 7 years. Catherine is now studying her Level 3 Award in “Residential Letting and Property Management” to even further her knowledge for our growing landlord portfolio. She lives with her family in Saffron Walden where she has lived for 21 years. Her interests are firmly rooted within the theatre having travelled all over Europe with various theatre companies.

Eben Dunn

Eben started at Pestell & Co in 2009 as a full time junior negotiator. He grew up in one of the areas many picturesque villages and has gained an in depth knowledge of the local market. He is vital in all aspects of the business, from undertaking property viewings and valuations to negotiating agreements and carrying them through to completion. Over the years he has built a number of solid relationships with clients, gained a vast knowledge of the local market and helped Pestell & Co expand in recent times.

Heidi Obeng

Lettings Manager

Bio

Heidi joined Pestell & Co in April 2021 as Lettings Manager for the Bishop Stortford Branch. Although Heidi is new to Pestell & Co she has worked within the Lettings and Property Management industry for 30 years and prides herself in providing a high level of service and advice to clients. Over the years Heidi has gained much knowledge of the industry whilst working for both Corporate and Independent Agents and has been based in Bishop Stortford for the last 7 years.

I am the Mortgage Broker for the team and have been working as part of Pestell & Co since March 2021. I have over 10 years' experience in Mortgages as an advisor and had the pleasure to help many people, families purchase their homes. I am an appointed representative of the Mortgage Advice Bureau which gives me access to 000's of different Mortgages across over 90+ lenders. This means that I am confident no matter what your circumstances that I can find a Mortgage that is right for you and tailor my advice to suit your needs. I also pride myself on ensuring all my customers receive appropriate advice regarding protecting themselves and their families to ensure that customers can keep their home no matter what the circumstances. By working with the guys at Pestell & Co, I aim to make the process of buying a home as stress free as possible, leaving the customer to concentrate on the fun parts like making a house a home.
